This week's episode of Supernatural Season 11 entitled "Just My Imagination" will show the Winchester brothers embarking on a new hunting mission involving children and their imaginary friends. Meanwhile, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki talk about Amara and how they can accomplish their mission in defeating her together as brothers.
In the sneak peek posted on Examiner, it shows Sam and Dean following up on the murder of an imaginary friend. Posing as trauma counselors with child services, Sam and Dean tell the child's mother they're following up on a police report. Maddie made up a unicorn man named Sparkle and she thinks he's dead in the room. Maddie's mother believes that her daughter is just having a wild imagination, yet she feels worried about her daughter. Sam takes point when they talk to Maddie, and he asks her about the night before, Sparkle and why she doesn't want to go back into her room. "All of the blood," she tells him.
After dropping the bomb on Amara's (Samantha Isler) true identity as God's own sister in episode 6, it may seem impossible for Sam and Dean to defeat her on their own. Sam has been praying to God since season 11 started and it is still not known whether or not He will come down and help the brothers defeat His sister, also known as the Darkness.
According to International Business Times, Padalecki revealed that it is possible to for God to actually get in the way of Sam and Dean's plan of fixing the damage they have done and that with or without God, the boys will try and stop the Darkness. Ackles however said that the brothers will not succeed without the help of God.
Meanwhile, the brothers are keeping again keeping secrets from one another and some "Supernatural" fans are wondering if Dean's bond with Amara/The Darkness because of the Mark of Cain will result in another conflict between the Winchester brothers. Jared Padalecki revealed in EW's Spoiler Room that the brothers are starting to right the past wrongs with each other.
"They're starting to remind each other that they care about each other, that they're there for each other and sorry about what happened," he added.
Supernatural Season 11 Episode 8 "Just My Imagination" will air December 2 at 9pm on The CW.
