"Outlander" Season 2 shooting location is set in France and author Diana Gabaldon announced that the casting call for Brianna Randall is still open. Also, reports are circulating that Diana and Sam kissed on the lips during the RingCon event in Germany.
"Outlander" novel series author Diana Gabaldon admitted in a recent interview that the casting call for Brianna Randall's character is still ongoing. Gabaldon revealed, as reported by BBC News, "They're [producers and crew] being very careful with the casting as they have been with everyone else and I'm sure they will find the appropriate character."
Apart from that, Gabaldon has also been spotted kissing lead actor Sam Heughan. According to Movie News Guide, Diana Gabaldon and Sam Heughan shocked their fans during the RingCon event in Germany when they suddenly kissed each other on the lips. The 63-year-old American author immediately responded to the fans regarding the kissing incident. She stated via Twitter that they [Sam and Diana] are not the only one who kissed during the event, even Gary and Graham kissed her before Sam as a celebration.
Other than that, Carter Matt reports that "Outlander" Season 2 will be set in France where Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) realized that the world there is different from where they came from. Furthermore, the storyline will also turn more political as Jamie's family will try stop the Battle of Culloden. Aside from the location, the food designers also captured the intricate feast of the place.
As of now,"Outlander" Season 2 is currently in production. The upcoming season is set to premiere around March or April 2016 exclusively on Starz Network. "Outlander" is an American-British television drama series based on the travel series under the same name of novels by Diana Gabaldon. The show is created by Ronald D. Moore and executively produced by Sony/Left Bank for Starz.
