Apple aficionados are still waiting for the release announcement of iPad Air 3 and while no official date has been announced just yet, the massive discounts offered by several retailers for Cyber Monday fired up speculations that the gadget's market release might be nearing.
Great discounts were offered during Black Friday and Cyber Monday with up to $150 off offered by some retailers on iPad Air 2. As reported by Christian Today, Best Buy slashed $100 on the price of 64GB iPad Air 2 wifi only. It was also implemented for the 16GB variant which was sold at $399.
Amazon is another retailer that sold iPad Air 2 with retina display at a lower price at $439, slashing off $59 on the original amount. According to Latinos Post, Sam's Club, Staples, and Target also did not let the event pass and offered the 64 GB iPad Air 2 for $150 less.
The large discounts are believed to be an evidence that the release of the much-awaited Apple tablet is fast approaching and while official details on its release are currently unknown, rumors suggest that iPad Air 3 might be released sometime in March 2016. According to Yibada, several innovations to be expected on the product is its 9.7-inch display with 2334x3112 resolution.
It is rumored to be a 4k display with 401 pixels per inch density. The gadget will also house Touch ID and Finger Censor capability for the users. The RAM is also expected to be large 3GB or 4GB. Its iSight is reported to be at 8MP for the rear camera, and 2MP for the front camera.
iPad Air 3 is rumored to be released in 16Gb, 32 GB, 64GB, and 128 GB. Apple has not confirmed any details on the release of the product, thus, this information must be treated with a grain of salt. However, speculations suggest that it will be released for a rather affordable price of $610.
