John Wick is set to return in the business he thought he'd left for good in the upcoming John Wick 2. Filming is currently underway for the film, and several images and videos have made their way online showing franchise star Keanu Reeves in action.
As reported by Daily Mail, filming for the sequel is currently underway in New York, where a photo of Reeves as John Wick was captured. In the photo, Reeves was seen wearing his signature dark grey suit while walking his new dog, a pitbull puppy, in Central Park.
While his look did not draw much attention from the crowd, Reeves stood out due to his face with cuts and blood all over. A video of Reeves while filming an action sequence was also found online where Reeves as John Wick was walking during the night in the streets of New York while he was being followed by a guy wearing a black hood.
Wick turned around and the guy took out what looked like a weapon, then, another man came from the opposite side of the street, and helped attack Wick. However, both men seemed too slow compared to Wick's abilities, and were knocked down on the ground. Wick then proceeded with his signature technique, and fired a couple of shots with his gun on attacker's faces. As reported by iDigital Times, photos of this scene were also uploaded by user 'priscilla page' on Twitter.
While official plot details are currently under wraps, Screen Rant reported that claims are surrounding the film suggesting that Wick will fight against another group of criminals who will be headed by Australian model and actress Ruby Rose's character. Common will also be on board as her guard.
Reeves also previously revealed that before heading to the sequel, the team behind John Wick 2 made sure they had a good story to tell, but also made sure to give better action scenes. The sequel is directed by Chad Stahelski, and is set to hit theaters some time in 2016.
