Blackberry's introduction of their latest android phone, Priv, was a great success. However, the brand is not heading to a stop any time soon as photos have made their rounds online suggesting the future launching of a new android phone model currently dubbed as Blackberry Vienna.

Blackberry used to be a big name in the phone industry, but with the advent of touch screen smart phones, the brand seemed to have been put on the sidelines. However, with the success of Priv, Christian Today reported that BB's in charge of the security solution in the Advisory Division, Nader Henein, revealed that it will not be BB's last release.

"It wouldn't be a once-off (thing). [The license to use Android] is too expensive and it is a mass market product - it is for consumers, it is for enterprise, and is really for anyone who likes the keyboard and the versatility of the operating system,", he said.

As cited in previous report, Blackberry Vienna is highly speculated to be cheaper than its predecessor and will bear the QWERTY keyboard which is fixed at the bottom part of the device. It will be equipped with front and rear cameras, as well as mono speaker, volume controller, micro SD, sim card slot, and power buttons on the front.

Although it will retain its QWERTY keyboard, it will have also be touch screen and will have a similar design as Q5, Q10, Q20 and Passport. As reported by Tech Gadget Central, the leaked specs for the product suggest that it will have a 5.1" QHD Touchscreen, and will have Android 5.1.1 OS.

Vienna is rumored to include 3GB of RAM, and Exynos 7 Chip Set. It will also have 25GB internal storage and can be supported by external memory. The rear camera is set to have 15MP, as well as autofocus, HDR, flash, and face detection while the front-facing camera will be at 5MP.

Like the Priv which acquired its official product name when it was near its release, Blackberry Vienna is also likely to be renamed. No details have been revealed regarding its release as of yet.
