Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has garnered numerous attention and praise since its recent launch. Fans are now in for more of the title, but for a moment, Konami sees the need to tone down the action-in the attempt to make a nuke-free event for the long-running series.
As reported by iDigital Times Australia, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has done what it should in order to please fans the most ways it can, even after multiple trials that the title has undergone. To give more to the loyal followers, some secrets of the game are ready to ascend, but only through a set of conditions that are highly advised to be followed.
According to Wired, fans have believed that constant establishment of nuclear weaponry resulted in a much stronger base security for players. However, Konami made things more interesting for the players, in the sense wherein the mentioned nuclear arsenal is required to be disarmed in order to unlock an event that the title holds. Gamers will no longer be able to fulfill this by repeating a mission seven times, instead, they are to follow a strict set of rules and terms to do so.
Delivered by Game Rant, the gamers can only participate once they have completed Mission 31. As the base condition implies, they must not possess or be in the process of fabricating a nuclear weapon, and all nuclear weapons on a given regional server must be dismantled. Moreover, conditions that are related to nuclear proliferation must be met on the original server on a player's designated gaming platform, like the PlayStation 4 or a PC.
Though it may be a little too far to achieve, given that countless players of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain may not all agree with these terms, Konami believes that there is a great possibility that the fans will tolerate the idea, in order to keep the franchise strong on its feet. These tasks also signify the touches of the adored Hideo Kojima, which was recently detached from the franchise under his own will.
