There are little to scant details about the upcoming Marvel's "Doctor Strange" movie. But recently, news about the first two expected directors to helm the movie has revealed their reasons why they said no to the film. More news about the cast of the new project has also been the topic of the news sites.
During an interview with the Collider, director Guillermo Del Toro has revealed the truth behind the rumor of directing with Neil Gaiman. With all his new projects at hand, the director finds it tougher to add more food on his plate. While news moves faster than a bolt of lightning, the filmmaker was surprised how fast news and rumors could pass on from one person to another, regarding his meeting with the studio about the "Dr Strange" movie.
It turned out, the "Dr Stranger" director somehow have landed onto another filmmaker. In an article on the International Business Times, leaked behind-the-scene images of the movie production has featured Chiwetel Ejiofor geared up as Baron Mordo. His character is an enemy of Doctor Strange. The quality of his role, however, has not yet fully detailed.
Aside from Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams has been making a buzz about the Marvel film. Just as her appearance has been confirmed, the actress did not hide or hide her excitement as the new project approaches. According to her on MTV, the movie will generally be a bomb once it is released.
She also commended the crew and the studio behind the movie franchise which made her join the team. "I mean, I just love the director," McAdams said. "I met with Scott [Derrickson] and loved his vision, he was so passionate. And the opportunity to work with Benedict was kind of a no-brainer. And Marvel makes amazing films, so it was a complete package."
Furthermore, McAdams revealed that the "Dr Strange" movie is "definitely not going to be like any of the other films." While the filming has already started, the studio remains low-key about what the movie plot would follow.
