'Mighty No. 9' reveals game modes, release date; Latest trailer showcases new details

Just before Mighty No. 9's official release date, Deep Silver announced the new game modes expected to be in the game. More news regarding the game will be revealed at the PlayStation Experience 2015.

Different game modes to be seen on Mighty No. 9 are detailed and shared on the official US PlayStation blog. The post said the the users will be allowed to experience the Boss Rush mode where they can challenge the Mighty bosses.

The Challenge Mode, another game mode added to Mighty No. 9, will test the players' 2D side-scrolling skills as they undergo unique challenge levels. Maniac Mode will also be made available in the game is an "insanely hard one-hit death" kind of challenge, the post says.

Users may fight online via Online Race Battle mode. The US PlayStation blog noted that gamers can "battle it out online in a race through the main levels battling your opponent to get the highest score."

Latin Post added that the game will include the two-player online Co-op Challenge mode. In this mode, the players will play the roles of Beck and Call who will conquest the opponents and finish the levels using their skills and abilities.

Fans who are excited for the upcoming release of Mighty No. 9 may check out the PlayStation Experience this weekend. The game founder, Inafune-San, will attend the event to support Mighty No. 9. For its latest trailer, players may chec the PlayStation's official Youtube channel.

Developed by Comcept, Mighty No. 9 is an action video game made available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Sony PlayStation 4, Mac, Linux, Wii U, PC, and Nintendo 3DS. The official release date will be on Feb. 9, 2016.

Few more months and the game will be available on PC and several gaming consoles. The new game modes excite many gamers ahead of Mighty No. 9's official release.
