Star Wars Battlefront and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PS4 bundle can be purchased at $299.99 each starting this Sunday. Dec. 6. The discounted price will be made available until Saturday, Dec. 19.
Marketing executive John Koller confirmed in a PlayStation blog post that the "Star Wars Battlefront Standard Edition" and "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" PlayStation 4 bundle will be priced at $299.99 each from Dec. 6 up through Dec. 19.
The "Star Wars" bundle consists of a jet black 500GB PS4, DualShock 4 controller, and the "Star Wars Battlefront" copy. Sony also provided a digital voucher with four "Star Wars" classic games: "Super Star Wars," "Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter," "Star Wars: Racer Revenge," and "Star Wars Bounty Hunter."
The newest "Star Wars" game is made by EA DICE, which is the same studio who developed the "Battlefield" franchise. The "Star Wars" video game features large-scale battles on popular locations such as Endor and Hoth. Users can join an aerial skirmishes as they gain special abilities. Players may also play the characters like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Darth Vader, and others.
In a statement from EA finance executive Blake Jorgensen given to Game Informer, it was said that the 'Star Wars Battlefront' open beta was very well received by many of its players. "Consequently, we're raising our unit forecast for sell-in during fiscal year 2016 to approximately 13 million units," Jorgensen added.
For the "Uncharted" bundle, Latin Post reported that it also has jet black 500GB DualShock 4 and PlayStation 4 along with three previous "Uncharted" titles. It contains single-player campaigns focused on "Drake's Fortune," "Drake's Deception," and "Among Thieves."
The package will suit gamers who want to try the remastered trilogy as a preparation for the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" which will be released on March 18, 2016. Additionally, the buyers will be granted an exclusive access to participate in the "Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta," which is expected to run starting Dec. 4 to Dec. 13.
