According to Vine Report, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 tablet is getting all the attention with a remarkable benchmark score that was based on a listing online. The newest tablet by Xiaomi has two variants, the Windows and Android. Fans however, will have to wait until the end of December before the Windows version will be released in the market. On the other hand, the Android version is allegedly doing well as it scored a total of 85,101 points in the benchmark test.

Android Headlines added that the only two handsets that have achieved a better score than the Mi Pad 2 at the moment are the Meizu PRO 5 which bagged 85,652 and Huawei Mate 8 with 92,746. Either way, these benchmark results are really promising and it will be very interesting to see how the newest tablet by Xiaomi will perform in real life.

Latin Post cited the features and specifications that the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 carries. The new tablet features a 7.9 inches display in an all-metal body that's basically an upgrade from the plastic build of its forerunner.

Under the Mi Pad 2's chassis is an Intel's new 64-bit quad-core 2.25 GHz "Cherry Trail" Atom X5-Z8500 processor that is working hand-in-hand with the Intel HD Graphics GPU. This handset is packed with a 2 GB RAM and is armed with an eight-megapixel rear-facing shooter and a five-megapixel front-facing snapper. Also, featuring a USB Type-C port, the device is powered by a 6,190 mAh capacity battery.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 runs on MIUI 7 but as cited earlier, buyers can choose between the Android or Windows 10 versions. The tablet comes in 16GB for $156 and 64GB for $203. It is available in dark gray or champagne gold color.
