After a long run, Marvel Studio has released the first "Captain America: Civil War" movie trailer which earned a lot of reviews from the audiences. Since the release, the film faced comparisons from its rival superhero movies. Further details also popped out making the wait a lot more exciting.
Following Marvel's announcement of a Civil War film, the team began shooting last summer for a schedule release next year. After the studio removed some characters in the list including Hulk, Entertainment Weekly confirmed the participation of Spider-Man and his role in the Civil War. However, Sebastian Stan and Chris Evans and the rest of the cast and crew have no stand about it, denying the presence of Tom Holland and emphasizing that Stan do not know the kid.
Although the other casts denied the news, Daily Mail reported that according to Robert Downey Jr. who will be playing as Iron Man, while they were filming, he and Don Cheadle were talking excitingly about the appearance of many more superheroes. "[Don] Cheadle and I are just going, "Wow, dude, look at this," he said.
The script includes not only Falcon, Panther and Ant-Man but also Spider-Man. "We're now like the old guard, and our storyline carries real weight just because our history in the [canon]. But we're also looking around like, "Who thought that Falcon and Panther and Ant-Man and now Spider-Man?" I mean it's like wow, this thing is just crazy."
Meanwhile, the first "Captain America: Civil War" movie trailer has been a controversy since the release. Earning an estimate of 61 million views within 24 hours, the movie was compared to Warner Bros' Batman v Superman film. According to the Variety, the participation of Evans and RBJ may have a great impact and contribution for the successful debut of the trailer. To make the Civil War more exciting, the screenwriters talked about the real reason why they had to remove Hulk in the script.
As Hulk being one of the strongest superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the fight would easily be over if he was in it. And so if the green mutant picks a side, the fans would just go home making the "Captain America: Civil War" a lot less exciting.
