The Resident Evil movie franchise is coming to an end as the studio films the sixth and final instalment. And just recently, the studio announced the "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" release date which is slated for a January 27, 2017 schedule. As the production goes, further details have been revealed.
According to the Cross Map, the production was originally planned to take place in Cape Town, South Africa. But due to the unexpected circumstances, the movie had to be delayed because Milla Jovovich, the lead character, was expecting a baby. After the announcement and delays in 2014, the actress announced that they are underway production last July.
Recently, Jovovich teased the old-looking Alice which gained more attention and speculations. Yibada noted that her old look is not intentionally made just for the conclusion of the "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter". There will be a massive possibility that the movie plot includes a flash back. The actress, however, indicated that she will still be having a fight scene alongside Dashiel, her daughter.
Meanwhile, the actress indicated on her Instagram post that they are almost done with the filming. And while the "Resident Evil: The Final Chance" movie has to undergo further editing and post-production, the finale will be a blast. "Almost finished with the film, but some of the best sets have been saved for last!"
The latest photo shared was taken in a filming in South Africa which she quoted was one of the best scenes so far. "Here's one in Belhar, South Africa where we're shooting an epic action sequence! #ResidentEvilTheFinalChapter"
In another post, the actress revealed that his favorite evil Doctor is back expressing her deepest emotions towards working with Iain Glen. She also reiterated her disbelief that the team has had gone so much through the final week of the "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" shooting.
