'The Justice League' is an upcoming superhero film to be released in two parts. An unofficial leaked synopsis suggested that the DC team-up will fight against the supervillain Darkseid. Principal photography is set to begin on the first or second quarter of next year.

According to Cinema Blend, an unofficial synopsis for the upcoming DC team-up has been leaked online through My Entertainment World. It read, "The world's greatest heroes are assembled to form the Justice League, to combat a threat beyond each individual's capabilities.

The story involves Darkseid planning the destruction of Earth by blasting it with a ray that'll move Apokolips into the Earth's place." Although it remains unconfirmed, fans are clamoring to find some truth behind Darkseid's appearance as the film's big villain.

Darkseid, the absolute ruler of Apokolips, is a fictional supervillain who first appeared in DC comics' 'Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen' issue #134 released on November 1970. He was one of the major players in the cosmic war Final Crisis. He is considered one of the most powerful beings in the DC universe as well as the Justice League's ultimate foe intent on conquering its enormity and invading Earth.

An article by Comicbookmovie.com suggested taking the news "with a very large pinch of salt". It is possible that the synopsis was taken from a scrapped screenplay by Will Beal. It remains unknown whether director Zack Snyder and Chris Terrio considered the very same concept for the upcoming live-action adaptation of DC Comic's most popular team up.

Meanwhile, MovieWeb reported that 'The Justice League' may begin principal photography sometime in the first or second quarter of 2016. It may take place in the United Kingdom although the exact location remains unconfirmed.

Producer Charles Roven announced the news during an interview with Collider saying, "We're actually gonna start shooting [Wonder Woman] towards the end of [November]... We are shooting in the U.K. and in Italy. We're making most of Wonder Woman [in the U.K.] and we're also making most of Justice League there, JL One... We're definitely gonna be shooting Part One in the first or second quarter of next year."

Roven also said that the highly-anticipated film in the DC shared universe will not be shot back-to-back as previously speculated. Snyder will be directing both part one and part two of 'The Justice League' based on a screenplay by Terrio.

'The Justice League' is an upcoming superhero film directed by Zack Snyder with part one is scheduled for cinematic release on November 17, 2017 and part two on June 14, 2019. The first film will star Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Ray Fisher as Cyborg.
