Leaks of the next Microsoft Lumia creation, the Lumia 850, have surfaced and some renders speak of a handful of exciting news to look forward to.
According to Yibada, the Microsoft Lumia 850, which is expected to come out around January or February 2016, will be the slimmest Lumia ever made. Old rumours stirred assumptions of the cancellation of the upcoming handset built by Microsoft, but new reports indicate otherwise.
Other news indicate that the Lumia 850 will sport a 5.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that will support full HD (1080p) resolution, going against old reports that said the new Microsoft handset would only have a 5-inch screen. Other specifications include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor and a measure of 155.90 x 77.23 x 6.92 / 8.50 mm, says Softpedia.
The phone will obviously run on the new Windows 10 mobile operating system, and will either have a front LED flash or an iris scanner that will make it compatible with Windows Hello feature that the Windows 10 desktop OS currently has.
Realty Today further adds that the battery will probably carry a 2600 mAh capacity and the primary back facing camera will have 10 megapixels plus PureView and a Zeiss optics. The casing of the handset will have a gold colored trim on it and a gold Microsoft logo to make it look more premium and high-class.
The Lumia 850 follows the launch of the first flagship phones created by Windows, the Lumia 950 and the 950 XL, that received mixed reviews from users upon launch. To add to the buzz was the shaky release of the Windows 10 Mobile that was plagued with many bugs and errors in its first few builds.
The Microsot Lumia 850 will succeed the Nokia Lumia 830 that was released in September 2014 and got bad reviews due to its poor 0.9 megapixel camera. The latest in-house handset by Microsoft will come out anytime between January and February of 2016, according to reports from suppliers.
