Samsung Electronics is bound to unveil the Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 version in the first quarter of 2016. It is expected to be armed with enhanced features and competitive specifications.
According to Day Herald, the 2016 Samsung Galaxy A5 will arrive featuring a brand new fingerprint reader, a bigger and better screen, and a lot more of other improvements. The screen size of the A5 has been increased to 5.2.
The new Galaxy A5 is expected to be engineered with a Samsung Exynos 7 1.6GHz octa core processor together with 2 GB of RAM under its chassis. Running on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 combined with Samsung's own Touch Wiz interface, the UI of the upcoming handset by Samsung will have new features like the multi-login. It will also privide users with more choices in the notification control department.
The 2016 version of A5 is believed to be packed with 16 GB of internal storage which could be further expanded by inserting an external microSD card of up to 128 GB into the phone's microSD slot.
A 13-megapixel camera on the back of the camera along with a 5 megapixel front snapper, loaded with the OIS or Optical Image Stabilization feature are also expected from the upcoming smartphone. This will ensure that the camera mixes out better and more stable images and videos fr the satisfaction of its users. All of these is powered by a 2,900 mAh capacity battery that assures more standby time along with longer time for active usage.
As a refresher, Yibada cited some of the features that the current Galaxy A5 carries. Aside from a 5 inch 720p HD AMOLED Screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, the previous version is armed with 13-megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel secondary camera. It houses an internal storage of 16 GB and a memory card slot for memory expansionof up to 64 GB. Powered by a non-removable Lithium Ion 2,300 mAh battery, the device is running on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat that is now upgradable to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.
Realty Today stated that the Samsung A7 aolong with handsets, A3 and A6 (2016), are arranged for launch in China towards the middle of December. Based on the previously leaked images, it will arrive with a glass back and metal frame, which are similar with the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 family. As for the price, no details have been revealed yet but all three devices are expected reach worldwide markets soon.
Following the release of Android 6.0 and 6.0.1 Marshmallow this year, many tech enthusiasts are expecting for Galaxy A7 to come out of the box with the new OS. However, details are still scarce regarding Samsung's 2016 A series and almost everything about it online are merely rumors and speculations until the company gives its confirmation.
