'The Little Mermaid' Live Action Movie: Disney wants original look of Ariel; Chloe Moretz not casting if blonde hair not maintained?

While Disney has plenty of projects in the room, the studio announced a live action version of "The Little Mermaid" fairy-tale film. Previous news then reported that Chloe Moretz will be taking the center stage as she plays the role as the pretty famous mermaid, Ariel.

According to the E! News, Moretz is excited to start shooting the Disney live-action movie. "I think it's a plethora of things. I'm excited, I'm nervous. I'm just excited to show something that I've loved for such a long time and in a different modern light," she said.

However, she explained that she first needs to undergo underwater training in preparation for the film. While the production is underway, her training will take her a month. This will also test her if she's capable of doing underwater scenes.

In the original animated films, "The Little Mermaid" introduced the star character with her signature red head. Rumors have it that the actress wants to keep her blonde hair if she takes the role. So the audiences might possibly see a blonde Ariel as noted by the Comic Book.

The actress, however, explained that she wants red hair. But, the studio seemed to have another way of introducing "a modern, revisionist tale" and it will be "progressive for young women in this day and age." This means fans will get to see a different Ariel in terms of dealing with her life and love life which will leave an important lesson for the audiences.

Meanwhile, Bustle reported that Moretz will not be playing the role of Ariel. But she will be featuring a better version of the character unlike the previous revised Disney versions. She will either be playing Ariel with the Disney's revised versions with red hair or the original character in the original story with blonde hair.

Moretz revealed that the team has already begun production with her excitement on hand. Although there are a few details about "The Little Mermaid" live-action movie, the actress revealed that the script was beautifully written by Richard Curtis. Sources say the original story written by Hans Christian Andersen features Ariel with a recognizably beautiful voice and a blonde hair.
