"Daredevil" Season 2 has released a teaser trailer and the fans of the show were able to see a glimpse of The Punisher. It has also been reported that the main character of the show will cross paths with Jessica Jones.
According to Christian Post, "Daredevil" Season 2 released a new trailer during a secret screening in Comic Con Experience (CCXP) in Brazil. However, the footage was not open to all and a Tumblr user was able to detail what the teaser trailer showed.
The Tumblr user named Cherryvane shared that the video clip kicked off with Matt Murdock with his crimson Daredevil costume. He is then seen walking into a room and realizes that there are people hanging from the ceiling. The Daredevil finds one person still alive and asks him, "Why did they do this to you." The one person still alive answers back and corrects him saying that only one person did such to them.
"Daredevil" Season 2's teaser trailer also showed The Punisher or Frank Castle with a sniper rifle but Daredevil does not recognize him. He was near to pulling the trigger and kill a target but Murdock is seen arriving just on time to stop him.
Movie Pilot reported that Murdock will cross paths with Jessica Jones. Marvel will reportedly establish a connection between Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage in Season 2. It is still unclear which part of "Daredevil" Season 2 will this happen.
Meanwhile, despite the hype for "Daredevil" Season 2 as fans were excited that they will see The Punisher and Elektra, the latter character received some flak, Collider shared.
Collider reported that Frank Miller commented on Elektra's character in "Daredevil" Season 2 during a Q&A at Brazil CCXP. He shared, "They can call it whatever you want, but it will not be the real Elektra." It is unclear why he made such comment regarding Elektra's character.
"Daredevil" Season 2 will be airing sometime in 2016 and fans will see Elektra and The Punisher as well as Matt Murdock crossing paths with Jessica Jones.
