The all-new HTC One smartwatch could be possibly out in February next year during the Mobile World Congress, according to a tweet from Evan Blas who operates the Twitter handle evleaks. The device was reported to have a Codename Halfbeak.
Latinos Post states that the rumored HTC One smartwatch that bears the codename Halfbeak will sport a circular display carrying a 360x360 pixel resolution. Through this device, the company plans to oppose the Moto 360 and the Apple iWatch.
The Moto Sport 360 is one of the latest wearable that is being offered today. According to Motorola, this wearable features a built-in GPS, heart-rate monitoring system and a music player. In addition, its fashion trend is still definitely fascinating while being a practical option for health enthusiasts, too.
The leakster Evan Blass has already unveiled the codename and the launch date of the new HTC One Smartwatch but any of the hardware details, on the other hand, have not been exposed. Nevertheless, a round display with resolution measuring 360x360 pixels is projected to be featured on this wearable. It has been previously reported that this new HTC smartwatch will be unveiled during the HTC's 29 September event which was actually didn't happen, writes International Business Times.
The research firm IDC has reported that the highest wearable seller with 22.2% share during the third quarter of 2015 would be the Fitbit. On the other hand, the Apple and Xiaomi have been placed as second and third in the worldwide wearable market.
Aside from the HTC One Smartwatch, another wearable from the company that would be the GRIP fitness band will also be revealed together with the One smartwatch. This HTC Grip was reported to feature a P-OLED touchscreen along with GPS on-board.
Moreover, it is also believed to have a compatibility with the RECORD fitness database that is being preserved by UnderArmour, Ecumenical News reported.
On February 22 to February 25, the Mobile World Congress 2016 will be held. Therefore, it is highly speculated that HTC will be finally unveiling its new wearable, the HTC One smartwatch on this event.
