"The Returned" Season 2 Episode 8 will be about Victor warning the people regarding the dam but no one listens to him. A sneak peek has been released and fans are treated to another eerie clip.
In a report by Entertainment Weekly, "The Returned" fans are aware that the predictions of Victor are almost entirely true and that it should be trusted. In the sneak peek released, Victor turns up at a man's house and warns him about the dam saying, "You must stop the construction of the dam." Before that, the man explains to a young boy what the dam is and how big is it. The dam was still under construction at that point and Victor prophesized that it will collapse and kill hundreds.
Victor also told the man that he will be responsible with the deaths of the people. The man refuses to believe him and he told Victor that the dam would be very strong and the boy should not be afraid. The man then asks Victor to go home and slams the door to his face.
As for the previous episode of "The Returned" Season 2, International Business Times reported that the episode entitled "Les Revenants" revealed the backstory regarding Serge's victims in "Esther." The episode was from 10 years ago wherein Esther is seen leaving a bar and was to go into the tunnel. A young boy, Victor, tried to stop her but it was already too late and Serge grabbed her from behind.
The episode then cuts back to the present where Esther, and all the other victims of Serge, were in the cabin where he sleeps. However, Esther is the only one standing and watching Serge. Serge wants them to go away but him seeing them means that he has to make amends. He then takes Esther to the home where her parents live but she still does not give any hints or says a thing. However, later into the episode when Serge said "forgive me," Esther spoke for the first time.
Esther said, "Where's the little boy?" She was referring to Victor and he is at Julie's old apartment with Madame Costa.
More on Esther and Serge's story in "The Returned" Season 2, AV Club reported that Julie learned she was with a child when she was attacked by Serge.
"The Returned" Season 2's next episode to see Victor talking about the dam's construction to be stopped to spare the lives of many. The show airs Saturdays at 10 P.M. on Sundance.
