As fans await the official public launching of XCOM 2 come February next year, 2K has released the PC System Specs needed to run the latest iteration of alien thriller/science-fiction video game franchise. Also, Reinforcement Pack expansion pass as well as the game's Digital Deluxe Edition have been detailed.

Latino Post reports that XCOM 2 The Digital Deluxe Edition pre-order is available now via game's official website for $75. This special package offers the new title's soundtrack and Reinforcement Pack which contains three DLCs.

According to 2K, a pre-purchase of XCOM 2 or Digital Deluxe Edition will be entitled to Resistance Warrior Pack which has the new soldier modification options like outfits, headgear, facial war paint and a new recruit character called Survivor of the Old War. The game publisher also provided the details on the downloadable content as well as the release schedule for each DLC.

DLC Pack 1

Dubbed as Anarchy's Children, players will be introduced to rebellion-themed content including a notable soldier modification around Spring 2016.

DLC Pack 2

Called the Alien Hunters, this add-on will feature new gameplay highlighting XCOM as elite alien hunting unit tasked to go after 'Ruler' aliens. It will also add a new mission, soldier modification options, powerful weapons, and armor in Summer 2016.

DLC Pack 3

The third and final DLC referred to as Shen's Last Gift will offer a new soldier class with unique upgradeable weapons, armor, modification options, and an extra narrative-based mission plus a map. It is also expected to be available in Summer 2016.

Those who opt to purchase The Reinforcement Pack separately will need to shell out $20 to avail of the above DLC items. With $60 price for the base game, buyers can save $5 when they purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition.

Developed by Firaxis Games, XCOM 2 will launch as PC exclusive title on February 5 next year. As of yet, 2K has not announced if the game will be released to PS4 and Xbox One consoles or not at all.
