Samsung is set to release the Galaxy A series, A3, A5, and A7 which are expected to arrive in China sometime this December and reach more regions next year. The new handsets are claimed to feature improved cameras as well as new safety features.
As reported by MNR Daily, the new Samsung Galaxy A series is expected to arrive in China this month while it is also expected to arrive in Europe in January. However, consumers can also choose to pre-order the handsets from the commerce website, Galaxy Club, which offers Galaxy A3 for $360 and A5 for $380. It will start delivering the new smartphones on January 8.
As stated in previous report, A3, A5, and A7 are expected to house improved cameras and more sophisticated security features. All three handsets are expected to be released with 5MP front cameras with A3 carrying an 8MP rear camera, and 13MP rear cameras for A5 and A7.
Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 are also expected to feature finger print scanners on its home button, although, A3 is likely not to include the new features since it is an entry-level handset. AS reported by Android Community, the other countries aside from China and Korea are expected to get the new devices. However, no news were revealed for its North American release.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 is expected to be feature 4.5" display, 1.5GB RAM, 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor, a 1900mAh battery, and 16GB internal storage which can be supported by micro-SD of up to 64GB. On the other hand, Galaxy A5 specs include a larger 5" display, 2GB RAM, 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor, a 2300 mAh battery, and 16GB internal storage which can also be supported by micro-SD up to 64GB.
As for Samsung Galaxy A7, it will feature 5.5" display, with 3GB RAM, Octa-core processor, a 3,300 mAh battery, and 16GB internal storage which can also be micro-SD supported.
The Samsung Galaxy A series, A3, A5, and A7 will be available in four color variants of Black, White, Silver, and Gold.
