Avid fans of the hit series The 100 are excited for an action-packed season 3 which will premiere on January next year. The show recently released a short teaser video for the upcoming third installment. After committing genocide at Mount Weather last season with Bellamy, it seems that Clarke is in the run for her life. Bellamy and Kane will get closer. Meanwhile, full trailer is set to be shown this week.
In the teaser trailer posted on The Wrap, Indra (Adina Porter) is shown telling someone that Clarke (Eliza Taylor) is being hunted by everyone. It is noted that Clarke and Bellamy (Bob Morley) pulled a lever and committed genocide in order to save their people from the enemy. She walked off into the woods alone in the finale episode, yet it seems that she has found an ally. The video shows Clarke telling someone that she did what she had to do.
There are much speculations about who is the unknown voice in the trailer asking Clarke what happened. According to Examiner, it is not clear who the woman is. It might be Lexa, but the voice doesn't really match. Rumor has it that the voice might belong to a new character in the show played by former Desperate Housewife cast Brenda Strong.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Strong is added in the show for season 3 as Queen Nia of the Ice Nation. The Ice Nation was mentioned throughout season 2 and that the Ice Queen has ruled her people for many years while "holding onto power through ruthlessness and savvy" according to her character description.
Meanwhile, Bellamy and Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) seem to have gotten a bit closer as Kane gives an advice to Bellamy and telling him "not to screw that up". This would mean that Kane is trusting Bellamy on his leadership skills.
The 100 Season 3 will hit the small screens on January 21, 2016 on the CW. Fans should also watch out for the full trailer to be released this week.
