Brad Pitt is the newest cast member in the upcoming Sons of Anarchy spin-off and he will be playing the role of John Teller. Creator Kurt Sutter talked about the details of this new series to premiere on TV soon while SOA actress Katey Sagal just signed up for "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" to guest star as an MIA mother.

"World War Z" actor Brad Pitt is said to be the newly added cast member for "Sons of Anarchy" spin-off. According to Cross Map, Brad Pitt will be portraying the character of John Teller, Jax Teller's (Charlie Hunnam) father.

Also, series creator Kurt Sutter has discussed some juicy plot details on the upcoming "Sons of Anarchy" spin-off and his plans. Sutter stated, "At some point I do have plans to hopefully do the prequel, which I do see as a one-off 10 or 12 episode thing where we begin in Nam and see John Teller and Piney and see how that relationship got created.

And bring them back to the States and the obvious external dynamics that were going on with the country and the perception of the war and what an odd kind of perception these vets got when they returned home. And then have it be the development of the club, ending before we start to get too close to some of the mythology that's already been established," SOA Fanatic has noted.

Elsewhere, Katey Sagal has recently booked on "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" to make a guest appearance in the 2nd half of its 3rd season. TV Line reports that the "Sons of Anarchy" veteran will be playing the character of Karen Peralta, Jake Peralta's (Andy Samberg) MIA mother. Sagal's character will appear in an episode that is slated to air around January 2016.
