The fifth season for "New Girl" has just released a promo and in it, Megan Fox's character is seen. It also shows the gang, Jess, Cece, Nick, Winston, and Schmidt including Cece's hunt for the best wedding dress.
According to Cross Map, the video also contains a sneak peek when Winston, Schmidt, and Nick meet Reagan, Fox's character, for the first time. Winston says Nick gets too nervous that he sweats profusely. Jess is also still seen in the teaser trailer so that means she will be in a few episodes before Reagan takes over her room as she is away doing jury duties.
Cece was also seen picking out the best wedding gown for her big day. Without Jess in the area, Cece will be asking Winston to go wedding dress hunting with her. However, in the teaser video for "New Girl" Season 5, she is getting stressed out as she cannot find the best wedding dress, Day Herald shared.
As for the past of Cece and Reagan, it was teased that they might have had a lesbian past and that information will be making Schmidt very uncomfortable. He is very insecure about Cece and having another gorgeous woman walking around their flat and her having a past relationship with his bride-to-be is difficult to process for him.
However, the lesbian days for Reagan might be over as set photos for "New Girl" Season 5 has been released and in it, she shared a kiss with Nick. This will be complicating thing between Jess and Nick as the two will be realizing that they will still have feelings for each other.
Meanwhile, Inquisitr shared that Zooey Deschanel, the actress who plays Jess, bonded with Fox and they talked about motherhood. The two were at the 100th episode party for "New Girl" and Deschanel shared, "She seems like a really good mom. It's fun to talk about kids once you have them. I think when you don't have kids you're like, 'Why are they talking about their kids so much?' And then when you do have one you're like, 'All I want to do is talk about my kid!'"
