When "Sister Wives" returns for its Season 7, the focus will be on Robyn's children and her relationship with Kody. It has been revealed that the custody battle between the Browns and Robyn's ex-husband will also be dealt with heavily.
In "Sister Wives" Season 6, Meri offered to divorce Kody in order for him to legally marry Robyn and eventually adopt his kids. In fact, the entire Brown family worked together in order to gain custody of Robyn's kids. However, the newly adopted kids were not the only addition to the polygamous family.
It turned out that Robyn was also pregnant with her second child with Kody. Their daughter which is due in January 2016, is also expected to be in the spotlight. All this means that the other three wives and their children will likely take a backseat in "Sister Wives" Season 7.
Meanwhile, it has been reported in Fashion n Style that Kody and Robyn have decided to name their new baby girl after Meri. They are looking at it as a way to show her just how important she is in their lives after Meri struggled with her catfishing scandal. The expectant couple are said to be the emotionally closest to her.
Hollywood Life reports that a source close to the family who revealed that Meri is on board with the idea says, "Meri would love it if they name the baby after her, it would show her that they've truly forgiven her and maybe then she'd be able to forgive herself,"
In the "Sister Wives" Season 6 finale, Meri said her feeling alone and needing someone to talk to since her only child Mariah went off to college, led her to have an online affair. She further revealed that she envied the large families of the other wives. She felt jealous when they continued to have children while she struggled with infertility and suffered a miscarriage.
At one point, Robyn even offered to be her surrogate but Kody dismissed the idea and said that his family with Meri was already complete. However, Kody went on to be the father of Robyn's new baby daughter.
Although it has been revealed that Robyn and Kody's relationship will be the main focus of "Sister Wives" Season 7, fans are skeptical that the shift will be good for the show. For one, the recently aired "Tell All" special which centered on Meri's catfishing scandal received the highest ratings for the show since January 2014. Do you share the same view?
