"Sister Wives" Season 7 was picked up by TLC on the heels of the successful airing of last season's special finale "Tell All". Reportedly, the special received the highest rating for the series since January 2014. Season 6 was heavily focused on Kody and Robyn and it looks like the coming season will offer more of the same.
Tamron Hall who hosted "Tell All", tweeted she can't wait to watch what happens next season. She also used the hashtag "newbaby" which raised speculations that the new season will be focused on Kody and Robyn's new baby.
Robyn is expected to give birth to a baby girl by January. The baby would also be Kody's 18th child from his multiple marriages. She Knows reports that much focus in Season 6 was on Kody's decision to legally divorce Meri so he can marry Robyn and adopt her three children from a previous relationship. Some fans are convinced that this only reinforced what they suspected all along - that Robyn is Kody's favorite wife.
Robyn is getting more of Kody's attention now that she is about to give birth to their second child together. Their son, Solomon, was born in October 2011. Another sister wife Christine has voiced her own issues against Kody's unfair treatment. She felt she and her children were receiving less of Kody's time and attention than the rest.
Fans believe that last season's events have led to the "Sister Wives" Season 7 focus on the new baby girl, Kody's being the new legal father to Robyn's three older children and her status as the only legal wife.
The same fans contend that there are a lot more of the Brown's family issues that also deserve to be focused on "Sister Wives" Season 7 such as rebuilding the family after Meri's catfishing scandal, Christine's marital issues with Kody and even Maddie's forthcoming marriage.
Meanwhile, Meri finally confessed her catfishing scandal in "Tell All". She identified the woman she got involved with as Jacquelyn "Jackie" Overton reports Christian Post. Meri revealed that Jackie threatened to expose their secret to the family. However, Meri said she had already made peace with her specially because her family became stronger because of the incident contrary to Jackie's intention of tearing it apart.
Meri posted on her official Twitter account, "I have forgiveness & peace in my heart. I pray for my abuser to find peace within her heart as well. I don't begin to understand her pain."
