In the "Sister Wives" Tell All special, Kody Brown appears to be overwhelmed and choked up with emotions. This is something that the patriarch of the plural family has never been like before. What could have brought the man to be left in tears after a season of epic changes, conflicts and stunning revelations?
A sneak-peek of the two-hour special reveals that the adoption of Robyn's children, Dayton, Aurora and Breanna, from a previous relationship as the reason why reports IB Times. Tamron Hall, who hosts the special, commented that she has never seen Brown cry before the jaw-dropping event.
"There's a sense with the feeling that, you know, everything is so perfectly right," Kody explains before choking up once again. He added the granting of legal guardianship to him by the judge was surreal, magical that left him spinning.
Meanwhile, Hall observed that while filming the Tell All, Meri was trying to distance herself and seemed detached during the adoption process. It can be recalled that Kody's first wife divorced Kody for him to be able to marry Robyn. This is so he can legally adopt her three children.
"I was dealing with a lot of other external issues during the whole filming of this season," Meri explains. She could be referring to the catfishing incident she was involved in.
In the "Sister Wives" Season 6 finale, Meri confessed to the online affair after feeling lost and isolated after her daughter Mariah left for college and her estrangement from the other sister wives, Robyn, Janelle and Christine.
In the special says Broadway World, the other sister wives will respond to her online affair where Meri was tricked by a woman pretending to be a man. Despite Merits unhappiness, Kody pledged that he will not abandon his first wife.
"If YOU jump to conclusions, you WILL be wrong. Standing on family solidarity," he posted on Twitter reports Fashion n Style. He added that the Browns stick together no matter what. He further requested fans to support and be patient with the clan as they work on fixing their family.
