Selena Gomez has finally addressed the rumours of her dating One Direction member, Niall Horan. She fully denied these allegations despite what everyone else has claimed to have witnessed between the two.
During last Billboard's 10th Annual Women in Music last Friday held in New York City, singer Selena Gomez was grilled about the allegations that she has been dating one of the members of the famous boy band One Direction, Niall Horan. According to Entertainment Tonight, when the singer was asked about the dating rumours, she immediately responded with "Oh, my God! No," she clarified. She explained how she loves Niall and how he is so amazing but not just in the manner that everyone else has assumed. Despite the appearances the two have made together, Selena still insists they are just friends.
There have been reports stating that there has always been a mutual attraction between Selena and Niall, but she was dating Bieber at the time, so Niall was just being respectful. Mirror reported that they have been on a couple of dates already, but it won't go any further than that. They both have different priorities in their lives right now, with Niall wanting to be off the spotlight for a while during the band's hiatus. Selena on the other hand has an upcoming tour to promote her new album. The two are now allegedly just spending their free time together, and they were even spotted taking a romantic stroll down Santa Monica Pier.
Niall has allegedly admitted in the past about how Selena is his dream woman and was thrilled when they became friends. They are certainly getting closer now despite Selena's denial of their alleged relationship. According to Entertainment News Online, Selena was even spotted backstage at the X Factor U.K. finale, as the band performed to prepare for their hiatus.
Despite Selena denying their relationship status, people are still very much convinced that they really are an item. They have been spotted together on many occasions already.
