EP Noah Hawley shared some details about "Fargo" Season 3. He also confirmed that the show is not going to air this 2016. For those who missed the season 2 finale, the full recap is included here.
Series creator Noah Hawley revealed some details with The Hollywood Reporter about what fans should expect in "Fargo's" new set of episodes. Hawley stated, "I like the idea that we're now living in a very selfie-oriented culture where people photograph what they're eating and put it up for other people to see. It feels like a social dynamic that is very antithetical to the sort of Lutheran pragmatism of the region.
So much of our crime stories are based around the difficulty that people have expressing themselves and communicating. And in a lot of ways the tragedies that are at the heart of these crimes could all be averted if Jerry Lundegaard could've just asked his father-in-law for the money or if Lester could have just been honest about who he was and Kirsten as well.
So, I like the idea of setting these very pragmatic and humble people against a culture of narcissism and to see what that generates for us, story-wise."
In addition to that, the executive producer also confirmed to Entertainment Weekly last Tuesday, December 15, 2015 that "Fargo" Season 3 is not going to air in 2016. Hawley explained that the dark comedy series is a winter show and they have no time to film this December.
As per the season 2 finale recap TV reported, the hairdresser and butcher attempted to run as the Fargo and Sioux police are after them. They also agreed to team up with the authorities and capture Mike (Bokeem Woodbine) and uncover what's inside the Kansas mafia. Suddenly, they have witnessed a massacre.
"Fargo" Season 3 is set to premiere anytime soon in 2017 exclusively on FX. "Fargo" is an American black comedy-crime drama anthology TV series created by Noah Hawley.
