Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow features new emojis, security improvement, irritating bugs and system time delay

Google's Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow has already reached several handset after its release last week. The new OS update not only brings new emojis for smartphone owners to enjoy and try but bug fixes as well especially on aspects related to the gadget's time delay in several features.

As reported by iDigital Times, the new OS update solved three irritating bugs that were generated by Android 6.0 version. The new update fixed the MMS Bug in 6.0 version that did not allow images to be downloaded when sent via MMS.

Moreover, the new update also took off the bug that causes the delay when copy and pasting words in several files or documents that was also reported by other users. The bug that causes the options for the Google's Direct Share Features to disappear on the screen after the 'Share' option is clicked was also fixed.

The Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update also includes new emojis and Google keyboard updates. As reported by Gadgets 360, during the release of the Android 6.0 reports from 400 users noted the delay in the system clock where after 12 hours in on the update, the device's system clock was already 15 minutes late.

With the system clock messed up, other applications such as the alarm clock were affected as well. While several other solutions were suggested such as putting the device in sync with the time of 4G and 3G network time, the release of the new 6.0.1 version has fixed the problem.

Furthermore, according to Trusted Reviews, Google's new Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update also revived the Do Not Disturb feature that was previously take out during the release of the previous update.

The new Marshmallow update also improved the security features of the devices as its release was in time with Google's monthly security update. While not many phones have received the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update, the rollout is expected to reach more units in the coming months.
