The discount retailer Walmart is now offering last minute deals for the tech lovers, as some of its tech gifts can now be purchased under $90. Interested customers can purchase these tech gifts on its website Walmart.com and in stores.
iDigital Times reports that the cutting of prices and making special offerings has been continued by Walmart in order to tire out other retailers for more Christmas shoppers as well as its competition target.
The site added that the sales of the company have been expanded from the mobile sales and to persuade last minute shoppers to its merchandise day, the company has beefed up its deals. There is a wide selection of tech deals where some of the items are being priced under $90.
Some of the notable tech deals that Walmart offer includes phones, tablets, headphones, and games. When it comes to phones, a customer can purchase the Verizon LG Transpyre 4G LTE Android Phone at $39.99 while the Blu Studio Unlocked Android phone is now having a price tag of $88.46.
As for the tablets, the RCA 16GB 7 inch tablet with keyboard case can now be bought at a cost of $49.99. In addition, at a price tag of only $79.99, the RCA Viking Pro 10.1 inch 32GB Quad Core Tablet can already be sold.
For those customers who look for a new pair of headphones, it is said that Walmart is offering a pair of Sony MDRV55/BR DJ style headphones for only $42.95 as well the Skullcandy Hesh 2 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones that can be purchased at $90.14. Lastly, at $79.95, a customer can already acquire a new FitBit Flex Wireless Activity Band.
For the Games department, the ESPN Premium 2-Player Basketball Game with Authentic Clear Backboard will be able to experience at a price tag of $79. As for the ESPN 60" Air Powered Hockey Table, it bears a price ticket that starts at $59.00.
A report from WDSU News has stated there were 24 students from St. Michael's Special School and St. Alphonsus School that have been hosted by NOFD and the Walmart on Tchoupitoulas Street at the Christmas shopping spree. Each kid has been given gift card of worth $100 where they will be able to spend it however they wanted. Every kid has been paired up with a firefighter; then the store was all theirs.
In a separate report from CNBC, an early Christmas gift to shoppers at three states that have Walmart stores were reported given by Secret Santas. The anonymous donors have been paying off the $484,000 that the shoppers have billed on holiday purchases set aside with the retailer.
Aside from the slashed prices that Walmart is giving to its customers, the company is also extending its hours for Christmas shopping spree 2015. Most of the stores start to open at 6 a.m. until midnight until Christmas.
