'Arrow' star Stephen Amell willing to leave DC show for a Marvel movie?

Stephen Amell is reportedly willing to star in a Marvel movie if the opportunity presents itself. But does that mean he's willing to trade in his successful DC character to be a Marvel superhero?

Australia Network News reported that the 34-year old actor is not leaving his show because he doesn't have a Marvel role, at least not yet. And even if he does get an offer, that doesn't mean that he is required to leave his role as the lead actor of 'Arrow'.

Amell said that even though DC and Marvel have always been rivals and that he's always been a fan of DC even before he became an actual DC guy, that doesn't mean that one actor can't play a role in both sides. It's all about the story, afterall. He's just open to both.

In an article published by MTV, when having a Q&A with his fans through Facebook and asked whether he's willing to take on a role if he's given the chance, he answered, "Sure, why not? I'm up for roles - movie roles - although I've never really read Marvel Comics and I was always a DC guy even before I was a DC guy. But it's not like if I got offered an awesome Marvel superhero, I'd be like 'No, I can't.'"

In other news, the 'Arrow' star was also reported by Latin Post to have joined another comic book based project with Megan Fox, the upcoming 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows' as Casey Jones. Talking about the show, it seems that Stephen Amell is still not sure if it's going to be around for a long time since the original plan for that was to release and produce 5 seasons only. But who knows? They're only on their fourth season and a whole lot of things can change in so much time.

Stephen Amell is slowly but surely rising to fame, taking one step nay, role at a time. As long as he continues to put his passion in everything he does, he'll surely be around for a long time.
