LG Electronics is bound to release another flagship handset April next year known as the LG G5. This upcoming device from the South Korean tech company is believed to sport a 5.6-inch display, 820 SoC, metal unibody design, integrated retina scanning feature and other powerful specs.
According to Christian Post, the LG Electronics may integrate high-end retina scanning to its upcoming LG G5 handset. Most probably, this technology that the South Korean smartphone maker would incorporate to G5 is different from what Samsung and Apple devices have. The addition of retina scanning will surely take the brand value of the device up a notch.
It was noted that 2016 is a year that many potential phone buyers are looking for since a new year usually means a new handset. With the many top-notch smartphones around, it seems LG won't be left behind this time.
Yibada cited some of the speculated features that might be present to the LG G5. The handset is expected to house a finger print scanning technology with an increase in screen size at 5.6 inches. But the handset is speculated to come with the same screen resolution, which is 2560 x 1440 pixels. With a Snapdragon 820 processor, the LG G5 is also bound to bid goodbye to the plastic casing and adopt the trendy metal unibody.
Additionally, Latinos Post stated on its article that the upcoming LG handset might sport a 21-megapixel front-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front facing snapper for selfies and video chats. It is also worth noting that the supposed April launch of LG G5 would give the South Korean electronics giant enough time to prepare for the global launch of LG Pay, its own payments service.
Though there has been no confirmation yet from the company, an April 2016 release is likely to happen for the LG G5 as its predecessor LG G4 was also unveiled the same month.Hopefully, the specifics of the highly anticipated device as well as its exact release will be spilled soon.
