Private equity firm Encore Consumer Capital confirmed on Monday that Daniel Gross has rejoined the firm's roster as vice president. Daniel Gross was put in charge of overseeing the company's portfolio as well as creating and executing deals.
Robert Brown, Managing Director of Encore Consumer Capital, said "Dan was an outstanding contributor to our success during his first stint at Encore. We are thrilled that he chose to return to Encore, and expect great things from him going forward," remarked Encore Consumer Capital Managing Director Robert Brown about his colleague.
Gross, also a director of Encore investment's PhillySwirl and Zuke's, previously worked in Encore from 2008 up to 2011. He left the company to pursue his MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business where he was also an Arjay Miller scholar. The former LEK strategy consultant received his BA in Political Science from Northwestern University, Chicago.
San Franciso-based Encore is a private equity investment firm founded in 2005 that concentrates on the consumer goods industry. The company boasts a broad portfolio of investments including beverage companies, pet products units, high-growth food companies and personal care products companies. It is reputed to target companies with annual income ranging between US$10 million to US$100 million.
