True Detective: Form and Void, season finale review

By

The True Detective finale was trending on the internet after the season ended tonight. A review of the series was conducted by Entertainment Weekly claiming that the finale episode has taken the viewers “to the heart of darkness at the vortex center of its weird fiction”. The final episode of the series was titled “Form and Void”.

The Guardian did a recap on its review of the show saying the villain was revealed to be Errol Childress. Childress lurked around his creepy castle which was full of VHS tapes. Apart from that, he also had a poorly trained dog, a maniac spouse (which came out to be a surprise) and a corpse hidden in a shack. Errol had changing accents and Marty Hart and Rust Cohle’s were thought to be connected to the murder crimes. Steve Geraci also failed an interrogation with Hart and Cohle.

To wrap up, The Guardian reported on its review that the series was great. However, the ending seemed to be lacking and would recommend viewers to watch all eight episodes again.
