The search for the missing MH370 aircraft is now on its fourth day. This was after the incident reported last Saturday that a Malaysian Airlines jetliner went missing two hours after it departed Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The plane was carrying 239 passengers including 2 infants and was bound to reach Beijing. However, the world was astounded when the Boeing 777 aircraft suddenly disappeared without any distress call from the pilots.

A range of possibilities had confronted investigators regarding the missing aircraft. There were a total of 40 ships and 34 aircrafts from different countries that are currently helping to hasten search and rescue. However, up to this time, the Malaysian Airlines plane still remains to be nowhere in sight.

Vast search and rescue operations were conducted expanding to the Western coast of Malaysia. China also sent four ships with another four still to come to aid Malaysia in speeding up the operations. It was reported earlier that two thirds of the passengers on board MH370 were Chinese Nationals.

The US has also sent two navy ships to help locate the missing jetliner. Among the ships is the Navy P-3C Orion plane which is equipped with sensors. Vietnamese authorities also gave out orders to search for the Malaysian Airlines plane on land.
