Cop reports ogling of Whitney Houston's dead body, gets demoted

Last Monday, a police officer who was once a SWAT team supervisor filed a case against Beverly Hills and its police department. This was after the police supervisor was removed from his position when he reported a misconduct done by a fellow officer during the scene of death of the late Whitney Houston in 2012.

NBC News exclusively reported last September that charges were pressed by Officer Brian Weir against Det. Sgt. Terry Nutall. Weir said that Nutall lifted the sheet covering the dead body of Whitney Houston. Weir added that Nutall remarked, “Damn, she’s still looking good, huh?” after uncovering the pop star’s dead body.

Pop star and music icon Whitney Houston, 48, was found dead in her room at the Beverly Hilton last February 11, 2012. The cause of her death was determined to be of accidental drowning and heart diseases after her reported cocaine use.
In the lawsuit filed by Weir, he alleged that he has “attempted to secure and preserve the scene of the death.” He also added in his allegation that wanted to “prevent contamination” and covered the dead body. Further, he said that when Nutall arrived, he removed the sheet palced “to an area below the pubic region.”

Weir said that was removed from his position after reporting the misconduct he said he witnessed.
