Basketball superstar Kobe Bryant would not make it to the remainder of the season. This was confirmed by a source who told ESPN.
Bryant took a rest following the fracture of his lateral tibial plateau in the knee last December 17. He was also unable to play for the Los Angeles Lakers’ first 19 games. Kobe was in the process of recovery from a torn Achilles in his left leg which he had incurred from last season, reported ESPN.
Kobe only played a total of six games this season. This gave him an average point of 13.8 with 6.8 assists and 4.3 rebounds. Further, Bryant listed 42.5% shooting from the field, cited ESPN.
The Lakers inked a two year extension contract with Bryant last November valued USD48.5 million. Meanwhile, Bryant said that his recovery was at a slow process during a conference held last month at the All Star Weekend in New Orleans.
