Cupcakes—everybody loves them! Joining cupcake fans in Chicago, Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta and Beverly Hills, New Yorkers can now get their cupcakes 24/7. Sprinkles will not open on the Upper East Side of Manhattan but a cupcake ATM machine will.
Yes! That’s right. An ATM machine dispensing cupcakes will be available for New Yorkers. The cupcake ATM machine works like the ordinary bank machine. But instead of getting out cash, you get a delicious cupcake in a box. You also get to choose the flavors you want in a user-friendly touch screen machine. Instead of walking to blue or red machines, you get to get a cupcake from a lively pink colored-exterior cupcake ATM.
Customers were so amazed of the cupcake breakthrough, reported ABC News. You simply choose the cupcake flavor you want, swipe your card and a freshly baked single served cupcake comes out of a box. Currently, Sprinkles’ cupcake ATM machine lets you choose from nine flavors. These include black & white, dark chocolate, Cuban coffee, chocolate coconut, red velvet, strawberry, lemon meringue, vanilla and vanilla milk chocolate. According to ABC News, after you pay USD4.25 a cupcake, you have to wait around 10 seconds, then a small door opens, and you get your order.
According to a representative from Sprinkles, the ATM is restocked with fresh cupcakes several times a day to ensure quality.
