By

Zayn Malik, a member of the popular boy group One Direction, joins a long list of fake celebrity deaths. This was after hashtag #RIPZaynMalik trends Twitter worldwide on Monday. The hoax hashtag has alarmed the singer’s fans all over the world.

Meanwhile, Malik is alive and 100% well. The rumor comes at the brink of April Fools’ Day. The story was shown by an edited picture of Malik, allegedly coming from a BBC news report, saying he was found dead in a hotel room. Malik may have not sent out recent tweets but this does not mean he’s dead. Considering the road tours that 1D has been doing, Malik is definitely busy with his career, but users on social media platform Twitter has nailed spreading fake news regarding his death.

Another death hoax from a phony BBC news said that Lady Gaga died way back 2011.

Considering it is the first day of April, would there be more celebrity death hoax stories later on today?
