Lorde has gone viral on Twitter after posting two images of her last March 31. The first image showed a photoshopped Lorde while the other one shows her imperfect skin. Lorde tweeted, “i find this curious - two photos from today, one edited so my skin is perfect and one real. remember flaws are ok :-)”
The tweet has gained attention as many followers were amazed that a celebrity as popular as Lorde is at ease with her imperfections. The 17 year old singer has pointed out that it was okay to have imperfections following her second picture displaying her rough skin, said the Independent.ie.
A lot of her followers gave positive remarks on the singer’s tweet. One fan said, “Oh Lorde, how I love you! Finally a celebrity that isn't insecure about her flaws.” Another one tweeted, “Don't really like Lorde that much but I'm glad she is pointing out how much Photoshop is used and reminding people the flaws are ok.”
However, others say that the idea to post these pictures is an “excellent PR.”
