Peaches Geldof died in her home in Kent last night after an ambulance rushed to take her in a medical facility. She was announced dead later, BBC News reported. Peaches was 25 at the time of her death.
The young TV host, model and writer left behind two young children after she passed away. Everyone in the industry was at awe as the death was so sudden and unexpected. According to authorities, the death of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates’ daughter was "non-suspicious but unexplained and sudden".
Sympathies from stars in the industry poured out on Bob Geldof’s loss. Paula, Peaches’ mother died when she was only 11 years old. Boy George, Ellie Goulding and Martin McGuinness paid tribute to the young Geldof. X Factor’s Sam Bailey tweeted condolences as well as Susan Sarandon on social media platform Twitter.
On Monday night, the Geldofs issued a statement stating their grief over the unexpected loss of Peaches. The statement read, "Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?”
