A wedding took place in Oldcastle, Co. Meath that has caught the attention of a lot of people and even netizens. This was after a video was posted on YouTube showcasing a priest singing the homily he was supposed to deliver in speech to the couple. HerIE said that the performance of the priest was beyond the wildest dreams of anyone or anything expected to be seen in a wedding.
Father Ray Kelly became an instant crowd favorite after singing his sermon in perfect pitch addressing the matrimony of the couple. HerIE referred to the performance as the best by any priest since Noel Furlong.
The wedding of Chris and Leah O’Kane left a mark for the attendees of their celebration including those who were attending the mass. The reason behind the spectacular event had little to do with the couple but mainly because of the priest’s singing homily.
Leah hails from Dublin while Chris came from Cookstown. However, the couple decided to get married in Oldcastle.
