Samsung has always made sure it releases several variants under a flagship or a product line. The company is best known for launching just about every size of tablet imaginable. According to reports, the Korean tech giant will be releasing a Samsung Galaxy Tab series: a 10.1 version and an 8.0 variant. Several leaks of the devices also support claims that Verizon has been preparing for a release soon.
Last April, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab 4 product line. The series comes with three tablets: Tab 4 7.0, 8.0, and 10.1. The tablets feature a slim and light form factor plus a reasonable price. After the release of the product line, it seems Verizon wants put out its own version of the devices. According to reports, the company has been working in releasing two LTE versions. Verizon will soon be launching the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 LTE and the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 LTE series.
Well known tipsters @evleaks also supports these claims. The tipster's account leaked a series of images showing the tablets. According to the leaked press renders, the devices appear to have the Verizon logo imprinted on the back. The leak is also consequently the 500th tip of the account. However, the leak did not provide additional details about the release date of the slates. Analysts believe the release should just be around the corner.
Other reported details of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 LTE edition include 10.1-inch screen with 1280 x 800 resolution and pixel density at 149ppi. The device will also ship with 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 16GB internal memory and 1.5GB RAM. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is expected to come with microSD up to 64GB, Samsung TouchWiz UX, 3MP primary camera, 1.3 front camera, Android 4.4.2 KitKat and 6,800 mAh battery.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 LTE will reportedly come with 8-inch screen with 1280 x 800 resolution and pixel density at 189ppi. Other reported features include a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB Ram and 4,450 mAh.
