Fours summers after LeBron James bolted out of Cleveland and took his talents to South Beach to join forces with his super friends, Wade and Bosh, the entire NBA world is now wondering what he would do next as he is once again a free agent. Teams will surely be lining up to make their pitches with the hopes of convincing the best basket ball player in the planet to join their club and win championships.
But when Bosh and Wade opted out with their contracts, it seemed that LeBron was staying with the Heat after all and a possible Decision 2.0 was never going to happen. That's not the case, however, as both Wade and Bosh are uncertain of what LeBron is thinking right now according to ESPN.com's Chris Broussard.
LeBron's two best friends and teammates for four years that includes four trips to the finals and 2 championships unsure of what he is planning next? Now that sounds interesting. A source close to LeBron also revealed that James started "distancing himself" from the Heat front office last season. He also suggested that LeBron's decision is up in the air.
After the Heat's "Big 3" lunch meeting last Wednesday, sources with information on the event revealed that Wade, Bosh, and James, ended their little gathering without a single clue on whether it was the last time they would play together on one team. Wade and Bosh were willing to resign with the Heat but LeBron was not yet sure on what he would do, the source revealed.
What was sure, however, was that James wanted a max contract. He did not request or advice Wade and Bosh to opt out with their deal or take a pay cut so the Heat can upgrade their roster and improve their chances of winning another title.
Right now, no one is really sure on whether or not LeBron James will resign with the Heat. Even his closest pals don't know what he is thinking right now. That leaves us wondering, again, on what will LeBron do next because the decision he make will surely impact the rest of the league.
