It's been three years since the last episode of HBO's "Entourage" aired, but as the coming film adaptation gets closer to its release date, anticipation has begun to rise.
Recently, actress Emmanuelle Chriqui dropped a few new details in an interview with SheKnows.com. In the interview, Chriqui was hesitant to reveal anything major, but did spill a few minor things:
"Let's just say that for anyone who's familiar with the TV show, it picks up from where we ended. It's very true to the series."
When pressed, she added something a little juicier: "There is a wedding, but I can't say whose."
The characters of Vince (Adrian Genier) and Sophia (Alice Eve) mentioned wedding plans in the series' final episode, so a wedding between the two would not be out of the question. However, it might be more likely that the series, which regularly mocks Hollywood culture (poking fun at plastic surgery, or director James Cameron), would be more likely to think outside the box.
Chriqui also mentioned that actor Kevin Connolly had broken his leg on set, but that it would not seriously affect the filming schedule. Dillon's scenes that had yet to be filmed were shot primarily from the waist up, making the solution an easy fix.
Another recent spoiler report claims that the film will find Vince becoming an actor/writer/director hard at work on his first film, with agent Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) now in charge of his own studio and set on releasing Vince's film.
Mark Wahlberg is also confirmed to cameo in the film, which makes sense- Wahlberg was an executive producer on "Entourage," and the story is loosely based on Wahlberg's own life experiences.
The "Entourage" film was first announced in 2010, and is set for a release date of June 12, 2015.
