In the upcoming episodes of the Seventh and final season of True Blood, a HBO super natural drama series, Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) will be returning to the show after the death of Alcide Herveaux (Joe Manganiello).

"It is not what I expected at all. Sarah is definitely on the run, she has got Pam and Eric after her now and the Yakuza. This season is about Sarah trying to survive," said Anna Camp in an interview with TVLine.

In True Blood Episode 5 titled 'Lost Cause', Arlene and Pam will continue their search for Sarah. Eric informs Willow that he is going to kill Sarah and Willow wants him to release her, reports celebdritylaudry.com.

According to official synopsis of HBO, Sookie finds herself the unwilling host of a festive mainstreaming party in Bon Temps. In search of an elusive adversary, Eric and Pam head to Dallas and attend a gala fundraiser. Andy (Chris Bauer) makes a life-changing decision; Jessica and James reach a crossroads; Bill loses himself in remembrance of human days."

In the third episode of the soap, we saw the end of Alcide as he was shot dead by members of the angry Bon Temps mob.

Joe Manganiello, who played the role of Alcide for the last four seasons, claimed that there was no way they could keep Alcide around. "Sookie has to settle things with the vampire guys, and you can't have Sookie break Alcide's heart because then the audience is not going to side with her or identify with her. On a show like this, where you're looking for vital characters to kill off, you've got to take out Alcide. There's no one that's going to be upset that he's dead, except Sookie - and maybe Sam. Those are the only people he's interacted with ever. He got separated from the herd," said Manganiello to TVLine.
