“Dancing with the Stars” 2014 Cast Update: Cheryl Burke Slammed For ‘Losing Too Much Weight’; Show’s Favorite Derek Hough Not Sure to Return

"Dancing with the Stars" star Cheryl Burke is criticized for her skinny figure, after posting a selfie on her Facebook.

Burke's photo was flooded with numerous comments telling the star is losing too much weight. Others wrote that the star does not look like her anymore because of her surprising skinny figure. One of the commenters even asked what happened to Burke's lips.

The DWTS star replied to them explaining, "I haven't lost any more weight!" and "I'm just pouting." In an interview with TMZ, Burke also made it clear that she did not undergo plastic surgery and that she is just happy.

The dancer has received so much criticism about her weight and figure over the past year.

Burke is expected to be part of the cast for the upcoming "Dancing with the Stars" fall season. Comedian-TV host Drew Carey will take on the stage as her partner.

Meanwhile, reports say that DWTS favorite Derek Hough is not certain if he is returning to compete in the upcoming season. In an interview with Parade, he admitted, "There are a lot of changes happening right now. I'll always be a part of 'Dancing with the Stars', they're my family and I love working with them and being part of a show that is so positive. We got a new executive producer, so new things are happening and we'll see what happens! I love being a part of it."

In season 18, Hough competed with Amy Purdy ending up second place in the competition. Hough was also paired with Kellie Pickler in the long-running dance reality show's 16th season, as well as in season 17 with Amber Riley.

Hough is the DWTS' most successful dancer based on the number of wins in the previous 18 seasons.

The show's 19th season will premier in the fall. ABC, however, has not made any announcement regarding the date of its premier. It will be aired on Mondays at 8 pm.
