Viral marketing is always a great way to get the word out for a new movie.
And "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 1" is no stranger to viral marketing, having just released a slew of new viral posters to drum up some excitement for the film's fall 2014 release.
The posters serve as propaganda for the fictional nation of Panem and its twelve districts, each with a distinct economy and way of life. The poster for each district bears a District Hero- a person who bears all the exemplary traits of his or her particular district.
In fictional propaganda terms, these posters would be used to keep the residents of Panem in line and to instill a sense of patriotism in them, as a way of dissuading the population from joining the revolution that's to come in future "Hunger Games" films. The revolution, of course, will be led by Katniss Everneed, played by Jennifer Lawrence.

Along with the posters, Lionsgate also released the following message:
"In honor of our brave brothers and sisters of Panem, we're pleased to share the DISTRICT HEROES COLLECTION. Today, The Capitol, under the authority of the Capitol Ministry of Information, released seven District Heroes across Yahoo and Tumblr. Please take a minute to reflect and learn more about these esteemed district citizens at the links below. We also strongly encourage you and your readers to register for updates from Capitol TV. Remember, we are #OnePanem."
In other "Hunger Games" news, exclusive footage from the film will be previewed at the BFI event: Sci-fi: Days of Fear and Wonder. This may be the first new footage scene since the film's teaser trailer, featuring similar propaganda, was released in June.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" will hit theaters on November 21, 2014.
