HBO hit series 'Game of Thrones' may have just finished its fourth season but that doesn't mean stars who appeared-and were unfortunately offed-in the first season are still not pining over their characters' death. Among these was Conan the Barbarian star Jason Momoa who played Khal Drogo in the George R.R. Martin creation.
Momoa, who was currently promoting his new movie "Road to Paloma" recalled his disappointment over Drogo's early death in the series. He went as far as jokingly cursing George Martin when he found out his character would not survive the first season, IBTimes reports.
"After George Martin killed me, I was like, 'Go f**k yourself. I'm joking. But after George killed me, I was really upset." Momoa even went on by saying that he even went to Barnes and Noble to pick a copy of the book, the Huffington post spills. The actor said he felt "bummed" with Khal's demise but went on to praise the brilliant writing of the book.
Drogo's death, however, is not the only thing Momoa has something to say about. Hngn.com dishes that the actor still feels protective over Emilia Clarke's Khaleesi. He shares that it sometimes gets difficult for him to watch Daenerys Targaryen get pursued by other men. "It is a little hard watching her with other men. Daenerys needs to cool it down. She needs to be a virgin. Have her dragons and that's it," he quips in jest.
Unfortunately, the Queen of Meereen can possibly have a lot of marriages down her way. Game of Thrones creator George Martin even spills some possible plot lines for the series' upcoming sixth novel "Winds of Winter." According to him, one of the story lines will involve an epic encounter between the mother of dragons and Tyrion Lannister. The sixth novel is rumored to be released on 2017.
